Abstract:
The International Legume Database & Information Service (ILDIS) jest międzynarodowym projektem, który ma na celu prowadzenie bazy danych roślin z rodziny Fabaceae (Leguminosae) i świadczyć usługi dla naukowców i innych osób zainteresowanych tym tematem. ILDIS to międzynarodowa baza danych dotycząca roślin strączkowych. Ma na celu udokumentowanie i stworzenie katalogu obrazującego różnorodność świata gatunków roślin strączkowych w łatwo dostępnej formie. W projekcie uczestniczą grupy badawcze z wielu krajów. Na stronie WWW znaleźć można informacje o ILDIS, krótkie wprowadzenie do rodziny Leguminosae oraz informacje o ILDIS CD-ROM -Legumes of North Eurasia. Baza jest dostępna w j. angielskim.

Prezentowany opis stanowi element sporządzonej na podstawie analizy krajowych i zagranicznych zasobów cyfrowych bazy wiedzy rejestrującej internetowe źródła informacji z zakresu nauk przyrodniczo-matematycznych. Został przygotowany przez pracowników Instytutu Informacji Naukowej i Bibliotekoznawstwa Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego w ramach projektu Synat. Treść publikacji stanowi odnośnik do opisanego zasobu (ten sam odnośnik znajduje się w polu Źródło). Całą bazę można przeglądać, wybierając w lewym panelu nawigacyjnym kolekcję tematyczną „Baza zasobów cyfrowych z zakresu nauk przyrodniczo-matematycznych”.
